Providing customers with unique access to exciting imagery, Surface View creates high quality bespoke murals to suit any environment. Working with independent design strategist Lucy Woodward, we identified the need to position Surface View as an aspirational, design-led brand, developing a sophisticated language and an elegant, contemporary identity to reflect their positioning.
Our starting point for the identity was the copy “Mirror, mirror on the wall, where’s the best creative work of all?” which summed up the D&AD show. Mirrorboard, foiling and copy written in reverse made this an interesting set of marketing materials. The perspex display case proved to be a stylish solution to the annual problem of work disappearing. The cool silver and minimalist design of the exhibition echoed the sophistication of the work on show.
Dan Martensen shot H&M Fashion Against Aids 2012 campaign and directed the accompanying short film. FAA is a yearly collection created by H&M to rise funds and create awareness about HIV and AIDS among the young.
Sometimes one supermodel isn’t enough. To launch Portmans’ new coloured denim range we cloned multiple Abbeys to help add some legs to the campaign. The results were so spectacular the jeans sold out in no time but unfortunately the cloning machine broke after we tried to make some spare Abbeys for the office. Can’t blame us for trying.
